I called to complain and I said it worked wirh Amazon. Great service, fast and inexpensive. I was trying to purchase same item from the Nokia website but the website would not allow the use of my debit card. Light came on, went to Amazon found the exact item for $35 LESS. VERY pleased.
After seeing how much Nokia wanted for this USB accessory cable ($45), I decided to head on over to Amazon and there it was for a fraction of the cost.Thanks very much.
Was able to successfully perform firmware update for my Nokia 6086, even though it's not listed in the description. I would think this cable can be used for any phone that requires the CA-53 (check Nokia's website for the complete list).
The cable does exactly what it is supposed to do - transfer data. You might need to be careful with the end that connects to the phone. The two little ears on each side that hold the connector in place seem a little weak. Just treat it gently and it will hold up nicely.
